Important Gen Con Dates

All of these dates can be found on Gen Con’s official website but here is a list of them all together in one place.

Gen Con 2023 Dates

January 29, 2023 (noon)	Badges go on sale
Event Registration- opens at Noon (Eastern)	Must purchase a badge by this date to be included in the randomized access queue for the housing portal.
Feb 12, 2023	Housing Registration opened at noon (Eastern).
Feb 28, 2023	Gate 10 Parking passes go on sale.
May 4-8th (estimate)	The Event Catalog is published approximately 2 weeks prior to event registration.
May 21, 2023	Last day to cancel room assignment with Gen Con housing portal with a $50 cancellation fee/per room. After May 30th, the cancellation fee is the amount equal to one night at the hotel.
May 30, 2023	Last day to cancel room assignment with Gen Con housing portal with $50 cancellation fee/per room. After May 30th, the cancellation fee is the amount equal to one night at the hotel.
June 16, 2023	Last day to request badge refund.
July 17, 2023	Gen Con Housing Portal closes.
August 2, 2023	Gen Con Trade Day
August 3-6, 2023	Gen Con
August 6, 2023 before 4pm	Any unused generic tickets must be turned in by this time for system credit.
